AHS Total Joint Group Classes
New joints, new journey – we’re stepping into recovery
Hawkstone Physical Therapy offers AHS-funded group classes for patients who have undergone hip or knee arthroplasty surgery (commonly known as hip or knee replacement). These classes are designed to help you progress towards a return to your regular functional activities while enhancing your ability to manage your post-operative rehabilitation effectively.
Who Should Join?
Group classes are for patients who have had hip or knee arthroplasty surgery within the past 12 weeks. If you're in this recovery window, our classes will provide you with the guidance, education, and support needed to successfully navigate your rehabilitation journey.
What’s Included?
Initial 1:1 Assessment with a Physical Therapist: Before joining the group classes, all participants will receive an assessment with a physical therapist
6 Group Classes Funded by AHS: Following your assessment, you’ll be funded for 6 group classes to help you continue progressing with your rehabilitation. These classes are designed to provide ongoing support, education, and exercise, helping you recover more effectively in a supportive group environment. Classes are 60 minutes and include a combination of education and exercise. Classes are held weekly, and we offer multiple days and times to accommodate various schedules
