Natalie Baba

Designations:
University Student (3rd year): BKin – Adapted Physical Activity

Title:
Exercise Therapist

Natalie is currently in her third year at the University of Alberta taking her Bachelor of Kinesiology, with a major in adapted physical activity.

Natalie’s love for sports started at an early age when she first began competing in gymnastics. This got her very quickly acquainted with the world of physiotherapy. Even though recovery normally is not the most pleasant, she finds the different techniques, and various processes used to speed up recovery fascinating. Seeing the benefits of physiotherapy firsthand peaked her interest in the world of rehabilitation and sport therapy.

Natalie joined the Hawkstone Team in September 2024. While gymnastics was Natalie’s primary focus growing up, she also participated in track and field, volleyball, flag football, and skiing. Her passion for sports and helping people has led her to want to pursue a career in rehabilitation. While at the clinic she wants to expand her knowledge of how to alter movements so that people can participate in whatever activities they please.

Outside the clinic Natalie spends her time hiking, skiing, playing volleyball and football. She also loves to read, go to the gym and go for coffee dates with her friends.
